Look after your lingerie!

Hand Washing Tips
Step 1 - Remove jewellery
Jewellery can get caught on lingerie and cause snagging and ripping.
Step 2 -Separate your delicates
Group your lingerie into piles of similar colours for washing separately.
Step 3 - Fill a bucket with cold water and add gentle laundry detergent
Cold water prevents the colour in your lingerie from bleeding. Gently massage your lingerie whilst submerged in the soapy water. Repeat this step for each separate group of colours.
Step 4 - Softly squeeze the water out of your lingerie
Be careful not to wring the lingerie as you could damage the elasticity.
Step 5 - Hang or lay lingerie flat to dry, never tumble dry
Lying lingerie flat to dry will help it keep its shape. If you hang up your lingerie do not use pegs as they can damage delicate materials. Keep your lingerie away from direct light or heat, and never hang them over a heater.

Machine Washing Tips
Step 1 - Separate your delicates
Group your lingerie into colours for separate washes
Step 2 - Close the hook-and-eye on each bra
This step will ensure the closures do not get caught on other pieces of lingerie
Step 3 - Place lingerie into mesh Lingerie Wash Bag
This will help to protect your lingerie. The mesh holes allow for the water to flow freely through the bag. Do not overpack the wash bag so that the lingerie has room to move.
Step 4 - Wash on a cold delicate wash cycle
A cold wash will help protect any colours from running, and a delicate wash is the machine equivalent to a hand-wash so it is much less vigorous than a general machine wash.
Step 5 – Hang or lay lingerie flat to dry, never tumble dry
Lying lingerie flat to dry will help it keep its shape. If you hang up your lingerie do not use pegs as they can damage delicate materials. Keep your lingerie away from direct light or heat, and never hang them over a heater.
